So Much To Like

∀ All cards are not created equal and this stunning card of Mark Ellis proves it: 2003 Topps Chrome Refractor #237 There's just so much to like about this card.  The 2003 Topps blue borders match perfectly with the US flag in the background.  The fact that this is a refractor with etching makes this card shine extra bright.  It might be hard to tell, but it has a three dimensional effect built in where Ellis is popping off the card.  And the Topps Rookie Cup is the icing on the cake. This card has been sitting in the box below waiting for America's birthday to arrive. Reader X sent it to me months ago along with all of the other cards in this box.  There is just so much to like about his care packages, I couldn't possibly fit it into a single post.  That's why it's sort of my "goto" box when I need writing material.  Although there's no way I'll ever get around to writing about each card, I do have some very specific posts planned.
