∀ A set of trading cards honoring 1928’s classic short “Steamboat Willie” will debut this month from new independent card company Saturday Morning Cards, LLC. Cards have art inspired by Mickey Mouse’s debut, which recently entered into the public domain. While there’s one basic card, it has six levels of additional numbered versions. Single-card boxes cost $42 on the SMC website. The “Steamboat Willie” set features chromium technology and marks SMC’s entrance into the trading card field.
