What's buzz-worthy: Luminance arrives on the NFL gridiron for a fifth time and it's got a similar approach to past editions but with a new crop of rookies (last year's players in some mocks here) and more waiting to be found.

The Basics: Boxes of this one will include five parallels, four inserts and 12 Rookie Cards in a typical break atop the hits just like previous years. The unsigned parallels (see gallery) will include eight versions per base and RC and there will be parallels across the inserts, too. ... Among the hits will be autographed parallels as well as Portrait autos, jersey autos, Shutter Signatures and Trailblazing Autographs. Joining them will be a Year One autos set showcasing rookies. ... Among inserts will be Vestige (photo sequences), Sheesh (notable plays) and Vector (artwork) cards along with Dynamic, Fuzion and case-hit level finds Far Out and Moments. ... These once again will carry a suggested retail price of $125 per box.
